How to Open a Dollar Account in Philippine National Bank

  • Earns interest for balances of P10,0000 or $500 and up
  • Save while abroad

Opening Requirements

  • 2 photo-bearing government issued IDs (e.g., driver’s license, SSS/ GSIS ID, voter’s ID, PRC license, passport for OFWs)
  • 2 ID pictures (1Ă—1 or 2Ă—2)
  • Accomplished Client Information Form, Account Information Form, Signature Card and Conditions Form
  • Required Initial Deposit: depending on the savings account you will apply for (please see the table above for the reference)

1 Dollar Savings Account

PNB Dollar Savings Account is an interest-bearing dollar deposit account wherein transactions are recorded in a passbook.

Product Features:

  • Interest-earning account
  • Monitor account by updating the passbook
  • Deposit/Withdraw at PNB’s extensive local branches and international affiliates
  • ADB must be $ 1,000.00 to earn interest

Opening Requirements:

  • 2 photo-bearing government-issued IDs (e.g., driver’s license, SSS/ GSIS ID, voter’s ID, PRC license, passport for OFWs)
  • 2 ID pictures (1Ă—1 or 2Ă—2)

2. PNB Greencheck

This is a type of deposit account that is a non-interest earning dollar checking deposit account that works like a US-based checking account.

  • Non-interest earning account
  • Pay bills or directly send payments to foreign countries
  • Enjoy the convenience of using a personal check.

Opening Requirements:

  • 2 photo-bearing government issued IDs (e.g., driver’s license, SSS/ GSIS ID, voter’s ID, PRC license, passport for OFWs)
  • 2 ID pictures (1Ă—1 or 2Ă—2)
  • Accomplished Client Information Form, Account Information Form, Signature Card and Conditions Form
