For what reason? People has become more and more adventurous! We often times travel for work or leisure regardless of the age and social status. And other than that, passport is also accepted as one of the accepted valid ID in the country. Truly, passport has become a necessity in life. In this article, we will be talking about how to acquire a passport in a hassle free way.

Rush_Philippine_Passport.png ofwmoney Almost all people have passports. In the Philippines, millions of passport holders are using this. Passport is a required document if you would like to travel or work abroad. Application before was so drastic. Gone were the days where Filipinos had to set an appointment and wait for a couple of months before they could apply for new and renewal of passport in the Philippines. This turnaround time was changed to give way for OFWs undying effort to the national development. With the help of technology, the processing of renewal of passport is tremendously easier than before. Now, it is hassle free and very much convenient. For OFWs, here is the great news for all of you.

The Department of Foreign Affairs has been streamlining and continuing to develop the services it provides for local Filipinos and OFWs. Passport as a courtesy and appreciation to the hard-works of OFWs, DFA wishes to remind all OFWs who are employed either land-based and seafarers, and returning OFWs that they do not need to secure an online appointment anymore in order to process the renewal of their passports. This is in line with the improvement of DFA Passport Appointment System that was implemented to prioritize OFWs. As a matter of fact, DFA NCR Central (Robinsons Galleria) has a dedicated special lane and courtesy lane to rush passport application for OFWs.

Please be reminded that all applications will be entertained and land-based OFWs and seafarers must file their passport application within 12 months upon arrival in the country.

Processing of renewal applications for all OFWs walk-in applicants is from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN only. Queuing before 6:00 in the morning is not allowed, not necessary and is not advisable.

Here are the easy steps for a fastest passport application.

The following requirements to renew passport must be presented:
